There can be no excuse...

Growing up in the USA, did you ever want to be a part of a country that tortures people to death in the "name of freedom"?

The documents show that detainees were hooded, gagged, strangled, beaten with blunt objects, subjected to sleep deprivation and to hot and cold environmental conditions

Eight of the homicides appear to have resulted from abusive techniques used on detainees, in some instances, by the CIA, Navy Seals and Military Intelligence personnel. The autopsy reports list deaths by "strangulation," "asphyxiation" and "blunt force injuries." An overwhelming majority of the so-called "natural deaths" were attributed to "Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease."

It's bad enough to go into war on false pretenses. It is far worse to show just what the real pretenses were. There is nothing "moral" about war. It makes both sides immoral, and sadly it appears to be an (un)natural extension of certain individuals' propensities for the death penalty. As in the Texecutioner.

You can never go back to where you were when you torture people to death. MacBeth, the blood will never come off your hands.
